Our clients, Mr & Mrs Morrow, a couple in their seventies, were woken by the sound of the fire alarm from downstairs one December evening.

After fighting through thick smoke, they managed to escape and alert the fire brigade and spent the night in the hospital, being treated for smoke inhalation.

Suitable accommodation was then arranged while we agreed with the insurers on how to deal with the damaged contents and the building repairs. The engagement of a chartered surveyor ensured that all areas of heat and smoke damage were addressed.

Our client later returned home to a clean and freshly finished property where they can comfortably enjoy their retirement.
